This a part of my website that will be of no interest to anyone else. However, as I get older I increasingly appreciate the value of memory, and my inability to retain it. I would therefore like to record what remains of my formative school exhibitions, small shows that represent the origins of my photography, times when I was experimenting with different photographic genres and ideas, starting on a journey which eventually led to me deciding to specialise in night photography.

My school photography took place in the two academic years 1981/82 and 1982/83, and after I left the school I was invited back in early 1984 to put on a small one man exhibtion. Below are three thumbail images which relate (as far as I can remember) to the 1981/82 Summer Exhibition, the 1982/83 House Art Competition, and my February/March 1984 show (sadly I have lost any record of the 1981/82 House Art Competion and the 1982/83 Summer Exhibition).
