In January 2015 I noticed that the last of the 2 Peper Harow trees that I have been photographing had fallen, lying on the ground like a shot beast. It has been said that "all photographs testify to time's relentless melt" and I am melancholy that these beautiful trees have finally been lost in the past. I present a record of their location, I wonder if in a couple of centuries someone may perhaps read this page in some web archive and attempt to visit the site, probably by then to be confronted by a concrete suburb of London?:
